As a result of a tip/complaint, it was discovered by EPA that the Respondent conducted a Lead-Based Paint abatement project in Brooklyn, NY in 2011 without submitting the mandatory pre-abatement notification to EPA. Pursuant to EPA's pilot Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) policy, a fine was proposed by an Opportunity for Expedited Settlement within Thirty (30) Days letter, mailed from EPA to the Respondent on May 15, 2013. The Respondent paid the penalty and agreed to correct the violation and ensure future compliance.
