Case summary
Respondent exceeded the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for total trihalomethanes (TTHMs). Respondent determines combined filter effluent turbidity and the residual chlorine concentration entering the distribution system by conducting grab sampling. No evidence of public notification for the violations was available. The eye wash and showers in the area of chemicals failed to be working and the system failed to have day tanks for certain chemicals.
