Case summary
During the performance of a RI/FS, the Respondent identified a drum disposal area. Samples were taken from the deteriorated drums and adjacent soils and results indicated that elevated concentrations of metals, arsenic, cobalt, cooper, iron and manganese and thallium were present. A Unilateral Administrative Order requires the Respondent to perform the work, as specified in the ROD and the SOW. This Settlement Agreement provides recovery of costs for the oversight of the work performed under the Unilateral Administrative Order.
