EPA v. Proto Property Services, LLC (SB)
Withdrawn by Region/State
Case summary
The inspection of this facility was a referral from one of the Respondent's managed properties in Brooklyn, NY. The inspection was done to review files of that property, and a sampling of the other properties managed by Respondent. It was discovered that the firm stopped giving out the Protect Your Family From Lead in Your Home pamphlet several years ago, in preference for a brochure given out by the NYC Dept. of Health. Disclosure forms were present in many cases, but not filled out, and in some cases no disclosure was given. There are children present in most of the buildings they manage, and a few of the tenants not receiving disclosure also had children in the apartments.
