Case summary
System failed to comply with a previously issued AO, ordering Respondent to comply with the individual filter monitoring requirement of the LT1ESWTR by December 26, 2005. Respondent has agree to pay a penalty of $5,000 and settle the case. Consent Agreement and Final Order has been signed by Respondent. System failed to comply with the terms of an AO and also failed to meet the turbidity requirement of 0.3 NTU 95% or more of the measurements taken each month, for at least 4 months during the period of January - June 2005. System also failed to install turbidimeters at individual filters and conduct the required monitoring.
