EPA requested, through OSRE, that DOJ file a proof of claim in the bankruptcy proceeding Crucible Materials Corporation, et al. in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware. Multiple Regions have claims against Crucible Materials Corporation. Region 2 settled its claim at the Onondaga Lake Superfund Site in a joint settlement with Honeywell International and Debtors. Under the November 2010 settlement, Region 2 received insurance money (Lloyd's settlement)as part of the bankruptcy.
