Case summary
This facility has two service floor drains which receive vehicle runoff. Drain leads into a septic tank and leachfield (an injection well). One of the floor drains contained a slightly discolored fluid and the drains are in very close proximity to the vehicle service area at this facility. Owner is required to: Cease Injection (discontinue the use of the drain disposal system for the disposal of all industrial waste). To submit a remediation plan within 30 days of the effective date of this Order. Plan is to be developed in accordance with well remediation requirements incorporated into Attachment 1 enclosed with Order.
