This was one of several facilities selected for inspection because of its location in a groundwater endangerment risk area in NYS. The Inspector issued the facility Field Citation II-UST-FC-1034, in the amount of $600, for the following violations : 40 CFR 280.21(c): failure to install cathodic protection for metal piping; and 280.21(d): failure to provide overfill prevention system. The amount spent on the injunctive relief covers installation of cathodic protection on the UST piping, installation of an overfill drop tube, and a cathodic protection test of the tank and piping.
