Case summary
PRASA has violated the Clean Water Act by intermittently discharging sewage (wastewater) through a point source (a sewer pipeline system) into the Condado Lagoon, Waters of the United States. In order to stop the discharge of sewage, PRASA will have to improve the current trunk sewer or to construct a new trunk gravity sewer pipeline that will eliminate the existing Miramar Trunk Sewer Sewage Collection System.
