Case summary
PRASA has violated the Clean Water Act by intermittently discharging sewage (wastewater) through a point source (a sewer pipeline) into Waters of the United States since at least July 21, 2004. In order to stop the discharge of sewage, PRASA will have to provide operationa and maintenance to the Toa Baja Township Sewage Collection System. The sewage colelction systen of the Toa Baja Township Sewage Collection System is tributary of the Dorado Wastewater Treatment Plant for final treatment. PRASA will have to provide a complaince plan to stop permanently the discharges of sewage to waters of the United States.
