Case summary

An Administrative Order was issued to NYCDEP to authorize the operation of the the Solar Centaur Turbine at the North River plant and two European Gas Turbines at the 26th Ward plant on August 2, 3, and 4, 2006 for purposes other than emergencies, as defined by 40 C.F.R. Subpart GG. The AO requires the submittal of a stack test protocol within 60 days of the effective date of the AO. Once the protocol is approved by EPA, stack testing is to be completed no later than 180 days after the effective date of the AO.
