Case summary
This facility was inspected during the NJDEP and EPA Paterson Sweep in December 2003. The facility operator was issued Field Citation II-UST-FC-584 in the amount of $450 for the following violations: 40 CFR 280.70( c): failure to permanently close or upgrade a temporarily closed UST after 12 months; and 280.93(a): failure to comply with financial responsibility requirements. To address the violation of 280.70(c), the substandard UST has been removed and the facility is working with NJDEP on the requisitive sampling and remediation.
