Case summary

From April 2002 to January 2003, EPA inspected respondent's facilities and found significant violations of TSCA. Specifically, the respondents are in violation of AHERA by failing to have management plans, qualified accredited inspectors and in general by failing to abate the asbestos problem in these schools. The Consent Agreement and Final Order provides a comprehensive plan that addreses all relevant AHERA compliance issues.
