This facility was initially issued Field Citation II-UST-FC-484 in the amount of $450 for the following violations: 40 CFR 280.20(c): failure to use an overfill prevention system, and 40 CFR 280.44(b): failure to provide line tightness testing for underground piping systems. Following the inspection, the facility owner fverified that he did in fact have ball float valves on his USTs and therefore asked that he be refunded the $300 penalty amount for 280.20(c).
