Unilateral Administrative Order Without Adjudication
Case summary
Raw sewage discharges from manholes loated at the Canas Housing Project sewage collection system, at a location other than the authorized in the Ponce Regional WWTP NPDES permit. PRASA shall cease the discharge of pollutants; repair and/or replace, unclog and clean all sewer pipelines and manholes that are causing sewage bypasses at the Canas Housing Project sewage collection system. Within five (5) days of receipt of the ORDER, PRASA shall submit written certification that is has complied with Ordered Provision mentioned before. Submit a plan to EPA that outlines a schedule, for the necessary repairs and/or field work in the Canas Housing Project sanitary collection system with specific tasks and timeframes. Submit to EPA and implement a PMP. Submit to EPA a quarterly report.
