Unilateral Administrative Order Without Adjudication

Case summary

PRASA shall cease and desist the discharge of pollutants into waters of the United States from the sewer pipelines located along the Bechara Ward Sanitary Collection System. PRASA shall repair, unclog and clean all sewer pipelines. Submit to EPA and implement, a PMP, a sewer system evaluation survey ( SSES ) and report to EPA the results within 30 days. Withing 90 days of the receipt of the ORDER, PRASA shall submit to EPA and implement, a Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) for the Franklin D Roosevelt Avenue Sanitary Collection System. Within 120 days of receipt of this ORDER, PRASA shall submit a report and a certification to EPA.
