THIS IS A SETTLEMENT WITH 18 PARTIES FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF PAST AND FUTURE RESPONSE COSTS RELATING TO OU1 AT THE SITE. ONE OF THE PARTIES TO THE SETTLEMENT IS CURRENTLY PERFORMING THE REMEDIAL DESIGN/REMEDIAL ACTION FOR OU1 PURSUANT TO A UAO ISSUED IN JUNE 1991. THEY ALSO PAID A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE PAST COSTS AT THAT TIME. THIS SETTLEMENT IS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PRE-ROD COSTS INCURRED BY EPA AND A PORTION OF THE FUTURE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS OPERABLE UNIT.
