Case summary

On May 10, 2024, the Regional Judicial Officer approved an expedited settlement agreement with Pratt & Co., Inc. and Little River Recycling, Inc. d/b/a Pratt Trucking (Pratt Trucking) of West Oxford, Massachusetts resolving violations of Section 301 of the Clean Water Act. EPA conducted an off-site compliance evaluation inspection of Pratt Trucking and sent an information request letter as follow-up. Based on the company's response, EPA determined that the company was discharging stormwater to surface waters without authorization under the Multi-Sector General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity (MSGP).
