Case summary

On August 10, 2023, EPA issued A Notice of Warning (NOW) to Shepard's LLC's Bethel, CT facility based on their failure to file timely complete annual production reports. The reports, required under Section 7(c) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), are due by March 1st each year and cover the production, sales and distribution of pesticides and devices for the preceding calendar year. The reports are EPA's principal source of information on pesticides and devices produced in the U.S. and abroad.
