Case summary
On July 5, 2023, EPA issued a Clean Water Act (CWA) administrative order to Con-Way Freight, Inc's Worcester Massachusetts facility for failure to submit discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) pursuant to their CWA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits. Con-Way Freight is authorized to discharge under the Multi-Sector General Permit. The permittee is required to submit all outstanding DMRs and continue to report as required by their permit. Con-Way Freight is not located in an Environmental Justice area of concern. EPA will notify the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection of our actions.
