Case summary

On August 4, 2023, EPA Region 1 entered into an Expedited Settlement Agreement with Heath Rogers d/b/a Maine Turbo Diesels, (Maine Turbo Diesels), an automotive repair shop located in Arundel, Maine, resolving violations of Section 203(a)(3)(B) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) through the sale and/or installation of aftermarket emissions tampering devices by Maine Turbo Diesels. The administrative penalty case alleged that Maine Turbo Diesels sold and/or installed 9 illegal motor vehicle parts.
