Case summary

On August 11, 2021, EPA filed an expedited settlement agreement (ESA) to simultaneously commence and conclude enforcement actions against Perma Inc. of Bedford, Massachusetts, (Respondent). The ESA addresses alleged violations of Section 7(c) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), 7 U.S.C. (S) 136e involving Respondents failure to file annual pesticide production reports in connection with each registered establishment. The requirement for registered establishments to report production and sales information for pesticides and other pesticidal products/devices helps EPA carry out compliance, risk assessment and risk reduction functions important for protecting human health and the environment. Perma Inc. will pay a penalty of $3900.
