Case summary

On May 21, 2021, Region 1 issued a Clean Water Act Administrative Order to the Town of Amherst, New Hampshire for its failure to meet the reporting obligations under the 2015 Industrial Stormwater Multi-Sector General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity (MSGP) for its transfer station. The Order requires that all Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) and data be submitted through NetDMR within 14 days of receipt of the Order and notify EPA that the DMRs have been submitted. The Town shall continue reporting DMRs by due dates per the MSGP. New Hampshire is not delegated the CWA program, but was notified of our action.
