On July 15, 2020, a U.S. Magistrate Judged signed an ex parte administrative warrant granting EPA access to the Railroad Salvage/Griswold Cotton Mill Site in Montague, MA. This warrant is necessary because the Agency has been unable to locate anyone who is willing to provide access to the Site. The warrant provides EPA with access to perform a preliminary assessment and site investigation under the Superfund removal program. EPA has been working closely with the State and the Town of Montague on this planned site investigation. 7/6/20 Referred to DOJ for access.
