Case summary

The Middlesex School, located in Concord, Massachusetts, owns and operates a wastewater treatment facility. The School was issued an NPDES permit (No. MA0102466) in November 2011 authorizing discharges from the treatment facility to Spencer Brook. On April 18, 2019, EPA issued an Administrative Order (CWA-AO-R01-19-07) to the School that requires the School to submit within 220 days a waste water treatment facility evaluation report and schedule outlining the steps the School will take to comply with its NPDES permit which, upon approval, are incorporated into the Order.
