EPA v. WARE WWTP
Final Order No Penalty
Case summary
Over the past two years the facility has discharged levels of Aluminum and Copper over the levels contained in the NPDES permit. The AO provides a schedule of work to be completed at the facility to address Copper and Aluminum violations. Once this work is complete the facility will re-evaluate its ability to comply with the NPDES permit limits. If additional work is needed to comply with its Aluminum and Copper limits, the Town will submit a new plan, and implement such plan.
