Case summary

On February 14, 2019, EPA issued a Clean Water Act Administrative Order to the Auburn Water District Walsh Avenue Water Treatment faciliy for its failure to submit sampling results required by its Potable Water Treatment Facility General Permit (PWTFGP). Facilities subject to the monitoring requirements of the 2017 PWTFGP are required to submit their sampling results to EPA electronically using EPA's NetDMR system no later than the 15th day of the month following the completed reporting period. The facility failed to submit its discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) through NetDMR for the past eight months and therefore has not complied with the reporting requirements of the 2017 PWTFGP. The facility must submit the missing DMRs to EPA within 14 days of receipt of the orders.
