Case summary

Region 1 issued a CAA administrative order to Preci Manufacturing of Winooski, VT for its failure to comply with the NESHAP for Halogenated Solvent Cleaning at 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart T. Preci Manufacturing operates an open top batch vapor cleaning machine that uses trichloroethylene in concentrations triggering applicability of the NESHAP. The order requires Preci Manufacturing to comply with the NESHAP, including installing treatment and submitting required reports.
