Case summary
On March 15, 2016, EPA Region 1 filed a Microbusiness Settlement Agreement (Docket No. TSCA-01-2015-0007) both initiating and resolving violations of the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule alleged against Paul Hill dba Alternative Energy Windows and Siding, a home renovation and painting company. The settlement alleges five violations of the RRP Rule that occurred while Mr. Hill was painting a house in Concord, NH in June 2014. Following an ability to pay analysis, it was agreed that he was not able to pay a penalty. As a result, the penalty amount was reduced to $0. According to the terms of the settlement, Mr. Hill has corrected all violations
