Case summary
EPA has negotiated an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent with Tweave, LLC, an integrated textile mill that produces woven stretch materials. Tweave?s stormwater and process water discharges contain phosphorus and copper in concentrations that exceed the water quality-based limitations in its NPDES permit. To address the ongoing violations, Tweave will cease new wastewater discharges to its treatment system. Stormwater and wastewater already in the treatment system lagoons will be treated and discharged in accordance with the interim limits included in the Order
