Case summary

On March 28, 2013, the Region issued an administrative order against Skanska Integrated Solutions, Bacon-Agostini Construction Co., Inc., and K.R. Rezendes, Inc. to correct violations of the NPDES Construction General Permit (CGP) for Storm Water Discharges. Respondents are overseeing development of a new public high school in Somerset, MA. The site is approximately 30 acres in size. In a response to the Administrative Order dated April 26, 2013, Skanska stated in their reponse they are not considered a site Operator , and therefore did not apply for coverage under the GGP. Bacon-Agostini Construction Co., Inc. obtained coverage under the CGP on April 25, 2013. K.R. Rezendes submitted a response regarding a new site concrete washout area, BMP maintenance performed, soil stabilization status/plan, and results of the turbid water investigation. Respondents submitted a new site SWPPP map/BMP plan dated 4/8/13.
