On March 14, 2012, EPA initiated and concluded FIFRA enforcement actions against North Safety Products, LLC of Cranston, Rhode Island and Phoenix Divina Products, LLC of Terryville, Connecticut for the companies violations of federal pesticide reporting requirements. In lieu of penalties, the settlements require both parties to cancel their pesticide-producing establishment registrations and to not produce pesticides or re-register their establishments for at least five years.
