Case summary
In April, EPA issued a Clean Air Act Administrative Order and Notice of Violation to the Moore Company - Fulflex Division of Brattleboro, Vermont (Fulflex). Fulflex operates a rubber processing and manufacturing facility and failed to comply with a variety of permit conditions to limit volatile organic compound, hazardous air pollutant, and particulate matter emissions. In addition, Fulflex failed to comply with the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Chemical Manufacturing Area Sources, found at 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart VVVVVV and portions of the federal Protection of Stratospheric Ozone regulations related to the regulation of chlorofluorocarbons and their substitutes, found at 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F.
