Case summary
On May 26, 2010, Region 1 inspected Nashua's faciility for compliance with the Clean Air Act, As the result of the inspection and other information developed after the inspection, Region 1 determined that Nashua had failed to file: (1) an initial notification for Reactors 1-5 under the MON NESHAP by March 9, 2004; (2) a precompliance report by November 10, 2007, (3) a notification of compliance status report by October 7, 2008, and (4) six semiannual compliance reports from August 31, 2009 through February 29, 2012. Finally, Nashua had also failed to meet equipment leak detection requirements by October 7, 2008.
