Final Order No Penalty
Case summary
On September 27, 2011, EPA issued an Administrative Order to Compel Compliance with Information Request and Access to Documents to the Executrix of the Estate of John Loconto, Gloria Lehner, and her attorney, James Triplett. This Order compels the parties to comply with an Information Request that was sent in January 2011. The Loconto Property Superfund Site, located in Spencer, Massachusetts, contained a 3.3-acre automobile salvage yard that was in use for over 50 years. EPAs time-critical removal action removed more than 7,000 tons of lead-contaminated soil and over 2,000 tires from the site. The cleanup was completed in 2011.
