Case summary
On June 23, 2011, Respondent C.P. Properties, LLC and Respondent M.P. Properties, LLC, agreed to two Administrative Orders on Consent (AOCs) to perform removal actions at separate but adjoining apartment complex sites owned by each Respondent. Both sites are located within the Parker Street Waste Site (PSWS) in New Bedford, Massachusetts. On August 26, 2010, EPA issued an Action Memorandum for the PSWS, a 114-acre site within which Respondents? sites are located. By letter dated September 29, 2010, EPA notified Respondents of their statuses as potentially responsible parties (PRPs), as current owners of portions of the PSWS, and afforded Respondents the opportunity to perform or finance necessary removal actions. The Respondents agreed to perform all actions necessary for the removal action.
