EPA is issuing an Administrative Order under Section 1414(g) of the SDWA to the Johnston Water Control Facilities for the systems failure to complete its required standard monitoring by the September 30, 2008 deadline as required under the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproduct Rule (Stage 2 DBPR). The Systems failure to comply with the sampling schedule contained in its approved Standard Monitoring Plan will also cause it to miss the deadline of January 1, 2009 for submitting its Initial System Distribution Evaluation (IDSE) report to EPA and RI DOH as required by the Stage 2 DBPR.
