Case summary
Novel Iron Works (Novel) was determined to be a major source of hazardous air pollutant (HAP)emissions, and therefore, subject to miscellaneous metal parts and products (MMP&P) MACT standard found at 40 CFR Part 63, subpart MMMM. As such, Novel was required to submit a notification of compliance status and semiannual compliance reports to EPA and New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NH DES) pursuant to the MMP&P MACT standard. Novel has not submitted these reports to EPA and/or NH DES. This Administrative Order (AO) formally notifies Novel that it is a major source for HAPs and is subject the MMP&P MACT standard. Additionally, the AO requires Novel to submit the delinquent notification and reportss to EPA and the NH DES.
