Case summary

This is a joint order to North Providence (the Town) and the Narragansett Bay Commission (NBC). It is being issued to require the Town and NBC to address complaints from a resident of North Providence regarding multiple wet weather SSOs and private property backups at the same location. Both NBC and the Town own wastewater infrastructure in the vicinity of Warren Avenue, where the overflows have occurred, and neither entity has taken responsibility for the overflows.
