On June 13, 2008, the Region referred the Chlor-Alkali Superfund Site, Berlin, New Hampshire (the Site ) to the Department of Justice for the issuance of an Ex Parte Administrative Warrant on behalf of EPA to authorize access to the Site in order to conduct a Remedial Investigation. This warrant is necessary because EPA has been unable, despite diligent efforts, to locate a property owner with authority to grant voluntary access.
