12/07/21 This ESD expands the Site 2 landfill boundaries to include buried waste materials identified immediately adjacent to the original boundary described in the OU7, Site 2 ROD and establishes an RAO for the expanded Site 2 buried waste area. LUCs will continue to be implemented across the expanded Site 2 landfill boundary. 9/30/20 ROD for Picnic Pond (OU5). 6/4/20 ESD for OU5 FEDERAL FACILITY AGREEMENT - ME8170022018 FY17: Containment of contaminated media, and LUCs. FY 2016: The remedy for OU-11 at the former Naval Air Station Brunswick NPL Site is No Further Action (NFA). No land use controls are necessary to protect human health and the environment. FY 2015: ROD Upon completion of munitions clearance activities, the FI determined no unacceptable risks from munitions constituents. LUCs needed to ensure future use is limited to nonintrusive, passive, outdoor recreation uses based on its past use as a EOD area for the base. FY 2014: ESD Soil excavation at Site 7 to remove source to groundwater contamination.
