§ 522.2694 Zinc, copper, manganese, and selenium.

Specifications.(a) Each milliliter (mL) of solution contains 60 milligrams (mg) zinc as zinc oxide, 15 mg copper as copper carbonate, 10 mg manganese as manganese carbonate, and 5 mg selenium as sodium selenite.

Conditions of useAmount.(c) —(1) Administer a single dose by subcutaneous injection to cattle up to 1 year of age, 1 mL/100 lb bodyweight; to cattle from 1 to 2 years of age, 1 mL/150 lb bodyweight, and to cattle over 2 years of age, 1 mL/200 lb bodyweight.

Indications for use.(2) As a supplemental source of zinc, copper, manganese, and selenium in cattle.

Limitations.(3) Cattle must not be slaughtered for human food consumption within 14 days of the last treatment. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
