Specifications.(a) Each milliliter of solution contains 5 or 10 milligrams (mg) propiopromazine hydrochloride.

Sponsor.(b) See No. 054771 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.

Conditions of use in dogs and catsAmounts and indications for use.(c) —(1) Administer 0.05 to 0.5 mg per pound of body weight by intravenous or intramuscular injection for tranquilization. Administer 0.25 mg per pound of body weight by intravenous injection as a preanesthetic.

Limitations.(2) Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
