§ 522.1452 Nalorphine.

Specifications.(a) Each milliliter of solution contains 5 milligrams of nalorphine hydrochloride.

Sponsor.(b) See No. 000010 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.

Conditions of use in dogsAmount.(c) —(1) One milligram per 5 pounds; intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously.

Indications for use.(2) Respiratory and circulatory depression in dogs resulting from overdosage of, or unusual sensitivity to, morphine and certain other narcotics. Not for depression due to any other cause.

Limitations.(3) Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
