Specifications.(a) Each milliliter of suspension contains 125 milligrams (mg) metronidazole.
Sponsor.(b) See No. 051311 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.
Conditions of useAmount.(c) —(1) Administer 25 mg per kilogram (11.3 mg per pound) of body weight twice daily for 5 consecutive days.
Indications for use.Giardia duodenalis(2) For the treatment of infection in dogs.
Limitations.(3) Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
