§ 740.5 License Exception Syria Peace and Prosperity (SPP)

Scope.(a) License Exception SPP authorizes the export or reexport of all items subject to the EAR designated EAR99 to Syria.

Restrictions.(b) This license exception does not authorize exports or reexports, which otherwise require a license under any part 744 end-use or end-user control, including under § 744.8 for transactions involving persons designated on OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List with certain identifiers specified under § 744.8(a)(1), unless authorized by OFAC or exempt.
