Authority.(a) This part is issued by the Board pursuant to section 618 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (12 U.S.C. 1850a).
Purpose.(b) This part establishes the procedures by which a securities holding company may elect to register to be supervised by the Board.
