Syllabus
<p>1.. Vendor’s Lien, Nature of. A vendor’s lien is a relative rather than an absolute right. It is qualified by the condition that it shall not operate against bona Jide purchasers without notice, and that . the vendor shall not sleep too long on his rights..</p> <p>2. Statute of Limitations: vendor’s lien. A vendor of land must enforce his lien within ten years after his cause of action accrues.</p> <p>3. -: pleading. An acknowledgment in writing of the existence of a debt to save it from the bar of the statute of limitations, should be pleaded.</p> <p>-4. -: A vendor of land by removing from the State cannot stop the running of the statute of limitations in favor of his vendee.</p>
