Wrongful death damages R.C. 2125.02 apportionment. The magistrate found plaintiff's economic damages expert persuasive, and recommended damages for loss of support and services of plaintiff's decedent in the amount of $478,522. For non-economic damages, the magistrate recommended damages in the amount of $2,500,000. During the liability trial, the court determined that fifty percent of the damages awarded was apportioned to the driver of the truck that struck plaintiff's decedent. Finally, the magistrate recommended a reduction of $1,293,475.28 for collateral sources. The magistrate recommended a total of $195,810.72 in damages.
