<p>Negligence — Boroughs—Sidewalks—Hole in pavement — Notice—Constructive notice.</p> <p>Where a hole in a sidewalk has been covered by a board in such a way that the hole is not visible, and the borough in which the sidewalk is situated has no actual notice of the hole, and the hole as covered by the board has been in such condition only twenty-four hours, the borough cannot be held to have had constructive notice of the condition of the sidewalk, so as to make it liable for personal injuries to a person who stepped on the board and was precipitated into the hole by the board turning under her.</p>
